About Jenn

I am a Learning and Development Specialist seeking to leverage—an extensive creative & project management background which includes facilitation, coaching, program development acumen, strong leadership skills, both analytical & tactical experience, a good sense of humor, knowledge of strategic planning & implementation, & unique ability to forge understanding between internal & external clients—in order to drive results in a training & development & human resources role.

Working in Learning & Development, my niche is supporting high-potential professionals in their career progression through the creation, management, & facilitation of professional development training utilizing adult learning principles. One benefit of my events background is that it affords me a unique eye when creating learning environments for the learner whether live or virtual.

By day, I work for Spirit Airlines on an amazing team called Guest Care. There I support and train those folks who answer your call to book your reservation or respond to your email, text, or Tweet. In the evening I spend my time supporting the NYC Chapter of ATD as their chapter President and hanging with my fiance Donnie and our senior rescue pup, Sadie.

Differences of opinion can lead to frustration and often conflict at work. Why doesn't she see what I see? How could he possibly interpret it that way? The answer is in the power of perception. Not only is it enlightening to understand the WHY behind why people don't always see eye to eye it is incredibly powerful when you can learn to APPRECIATE these differences. An added bonus is this new awareness can reduce frustration and improve communication and relationships!
